He landed a whopping 9-of-19 takedown attempts in a shade under 10 minutes, but he left his neck exposed in his final try and Matsumoto clamped on the guillotine, earning the stoppage with just a single second left in the frame. Argueta falls to 1-2 (2NC) in his first five UFC bouts. He needs to find a victory his next time out.
