Haddon defeated Billy Brand via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:09 of Round 1 at Dana White's Contender Series on Tuesday. After the show, he was one of four fighters to earn an official UFC contract.

Haddon showed a solid all-around skill set in as long as this bout lasted, as he was able to survive getting his back taken briefly and scramble back to the feet.
