Getting your opposition down is one thing, but Almabayev has consistently displayed the ability to remain a step ahead on the mat. The UFC has been careful regarding the level of competition it has matched Almabayev up against thus far, but that seems likely to change moving forward. He improves to 3-0 with the company.
