2010 Fantasy Outlook
Budish, selected by Nashville with the 41st overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, scored 17 points (7G, 10A) for the University of Minnesota last year, playing in all 39 games for the Golden Gophers after missing most of the previous season with a knee injury. At 6'3" and 223 lbs, Budish has good size to go along with his speed, soft hands and superb playmaking ability. He has top-six forward written all over him, and it's just a matter of time before he lands in the NHL. He will challenge for a spot on the Preds' roster this year, but he is likely another year or two away.
