Hutchings is fast and fearless, two character traits that help offset his small size (5-10, 180). But his first year in pro hockey was largely forgettable. The former offensive dynamo from junior fell flat on his face in the AHL and he soon found himself in the East Coast league where he really didn't do much better. He has the offensive skill to be a difference maker for the Bolts' AHL squad this season but he's going to have to demonstrate a whole lot more commitment to advance.
