Sucher gets into the field after Seamus Power had to withdraw due to a positive COVID-19 test. Sucher will team up with David Hearn for the Zurich Classic this week. The 34-year-old last teed it up on the PGA Tour back at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship where he missed the cut.

Sucher made the top 25 in his first two starts last season and ... that was that. He missed more cuts than he made. Sucher did earn more than $750k the year prior however, which means he's capable of faring much better if he gets enough starts.
Sucher only made 10 starts last season after having surgery on his leg back in 2017. He was able to use the last of a medical exemption to parlay that into a T2 finish at the Travelers Championship, locking up conditional PGA Tour status next year. Sucher is a player that does have some upside, as he has length and hit nearly 70 percent of the GIR last season.
Sucher came alive at the right time, using two top-10s in the Web.com Finals to secure his PGA Tour card. He played 18 events on tour in 2014-15, but made only five cuts and earned less than $100,000. He might surpass that number this season, but not by nearly enough to even sniff a playoff berth.
