2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hutchinson began to see regular targets beginning in Week 14 as a rookie. The receiver was pressed into a bigger role when the Texans were dealing with wide receiver injuries. Despite averaging three targets per game averaged 1.2 receptions for 9.4 yards. Hutchinson didn’t show great chemistry with C.J. Stroud, which could hurt his chances at seeing a prominent role in 2024. With the top-three wide receiver roles being held by high-level players, Hutchinson may struggle to see playing time unless teammates miss time. Read Past Outlooks

Key catch in playoff win
Hutchinson caught his lone target for 34 yards in Saturday's 32-12 win over the Chargers in the wild-card round.
ANALYSIS
The one target was on brand for Hutchinson, but the catch turned out to be a game-changing event. Houston's offense was somnambulant over its first five possessions until quarterback C.J. Stroud found Hutchinson on a third-and-16 to extend a drive. That jump-started the Texans, who went on to score a touchdown and take a 7-6 lead. Hutchinson is locked in at fourth on the depth chart as the Texans prepare for the divisional round, when they face the Chiefs.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
After drafting quarterback C.J. Stroud with the second overall pick in the 2023 draft, the Texans subsequently selected a pair of wideouts. Nathaniel Dell went in the third round followed by Hutchinson three rounds later. Hutchinson showed improvement each year Iowa State and caught 107 passes for 1,171 receiving yards while being targeted a nation-high 161 times in 2022. At 6-3, Hutchinson has good size, but he has merely average speed (4.53 40) and ball skills, which contributed to his draft-day slide. There is, however, something for coaches to work with, and Hutchinson's size makes him a red-zone fit. He could have opportunities in Houston, which lacks proven high-end talent, but he'll also have a rookie quarterback in C.J. Stroud running the offense.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Top Texans wideout for Week 10?
Tank Dell and Nico Collins are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions due to back and hamstring injuries, respectively, which opens the door for Hutchinson to take on a larger role in the passing game.
ANALYSIS
Dell has emerged as quarterback C.J. Stroud's top target in the passing game while Collins has been sidelined for the Texans' last four regular-season contests. If one or both of Dell and Collins were unable to play Sunday or operate on a snap count, then Hutchinson, Robert Woods and tight end Dalton Schultz would be in line for more targets from Stroud. Over his last five outings, Hutchinson has caught four passes on 10 targets for 61 yards.
