2024 Fantasy Outlook
After the Bears selected Stevenson in the second round of the 2023 Draft, the cornerback recorded 86 tackles and four interceptions as a rookie. However, the Miami (Fla.) product was not a consistent producer. During the first eight games of his rookie season, he posted at least six tackles on five occasions. Afterward, Stevenson failed to post more than five tackles until Week 18. Despite the late-season fade, the second-year player is likely to remain a high-floor IDP. Read Past Outlooks
Poor reaction to benching
Stevenson pulled himself out of practice Wednesday when he was informed of his benching for Sunday's game against the Cardinals after his actions late in the Bears' Week 8 loss to the Commanders, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Stevenson is still expected to be rotated in for Sunday's game, though Terell Smith will likely serve as one of the Bears' starting cornerbacks opposite Jaylon Johnson. His move to the bench for Week 9 comes after Stevenson was seen making celebratory gestures toward Washington fans prior to the final snap of last week's loss, resulting in him being out of position defensively before he tipped the ball in the air on quarterback Jayden Daniels' Hail Mary attempt, which landed in the arms of wideout Noah Brown for a game-winning touchdown for the Commanders. Stevenson is still expected to reclaim his starting role in Week 10 against the Patriots.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Bears used the 56th overall pick in the 2023 draft to select Stevenson. Despite the fact the team drafted Kyler Gordon in the second round last year, Stevenson begins training camp sitting atop the depth chart at right cornerback, across from Jaylon Johnson. If Stevenson has a solid training camp, he should be the starter in the regular season, though if Gordon shows vast improvement in his second year, the depth chart could become unclear.

ANALYSIS
Stevenson also spent time with the Cowboys and Packers last week. In his last season with the University of Miami, Stevenson had 25 total tackles, seven pass deflections and two interceptions in 11 games. Standing at 6-foot tall, Stevenson would bring length and size for a team looking to add meaningful depth to their secondary through the 2023 NFL Draft.
