2024 Fantasy Outlook
Gordon was selected in the second round of the 2022 Draft. After struggling in coverage as a rookie, Tyrique Stevenson moved ahead of Gordon on the depth chart last year. Even though the Washington product was the No. 3 cornerback, his snaps dropped. Instead of snap shares of nearly 100 percent in 13 of his 14 appearances in 2022, he fell to 80-plus percent most weeks in 2023. As a result, his tackle total decreased from 71 to 61. Unless Chicago has to deal with injuries, Gordon likely will have a similar role to what he had last season. The third-year pro still should retain a useful scoring floor as an IDP. Head coach Matt Eberflus told reports that Gordon got further imaging done on his hamstring injury Monday morning, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Eberflus added that he didn't have an update on Gordon's injury at the moment, but he's hopeful that Chicago's Week 7 bye will give the third-year cornerback enough time to recover. If Gordon is forced to miss the Bears' matchup against the Commanders in Week 8, expect Josh Blackwell to serve as Chicago's top slot corner.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
After Gordon was taken in the second round of the 2022 Draft, the Bears needed him to be an immediate starter. And he did just that, pacing the team's cornerbacks with 823 snaps in 14 games. Despite missing time due to a pair of injuries, he put up 71 tackles, three interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Considering his performance as a rookie, Gordon will continue to be one of Chicago's top corners moving forward.
The Bears selected Gordon with the 39th pick in this year's draft in the hopes he'll be an immediate-impact player. Across from Jaylon Johnson there's a huge need for solid CB play, and it would be surprising if Gordon wasn't the Week 1 starter. If he's the starter, he has immediate IDP value, especially since it's unlikely any of the depth CBs would be able to push him for a lineup spot.

Key offseason acquisition
CBChicago Bears
July 14, 2022
The drafting of Gordon was one of the Bears' best offseason moves, Adam Jahns of The Athletic opines.
ANALYSIS
The second-round pick out of Washington only recorded two interceptions during his college career, but he proved capable of consistently getting his hands on the ball, especially during his senior season. Additionally, Gordon stood out during OTAs by making interceptions and forcing fumbles, and on a team clearly in rebuilding mode, he could certainly have a key role early.
