2024 Fantasy Outlook
Ricard is a unique chess piece in the Ravens offense. Though offensive coordinator Greg Roman's departure did cut into Ricard's role last season, Todd Monken still found 429 snaps for the 6-3, 305-pound defensive lineman turned fullback. That was nearly as many as Odell Beckham played. Ricard's passing game usage did crater, though, as he went from roughly one target per game from 2020-22 to just seven total targets in 2023. Look for Ricard to see the field plenty in 2024 as he clears paths for Derrick Henry. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Cashes in short-area target for TD
Richard played 36 of the Ravens' 51 snaps on offense and hauled in his lone target for a three-yard touchdown reception in Sunday's 41-10 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
With a season-high 63 percent snap share, Ricard surprisingly paced all Ravens skill-position players not named Lamar Jackson in playing time in Week 9. The fullback had played just 11 snaps a week earlier in a loss to Cleveland in which Jackson attempted 38 passes, but with Baltimore in control throughout the Week 10 contest and leaning heavily on the run, Ricard saw his snaps pick up considerably. He was able to capitalize on the extra playing time by finding paydirt on a short target near the goal line late in the third quarter for his first touchdown of the campaign and just his second in the last three seasons.

Ricard has been one of the last remaining fullbacks with a significant role over the past few seasons. He routinely played a healthy amount of snaps from 2019 through 2022, topping out at 57 percent of the offensive snaps (681 total) last season. Ricard was a great fit in the Greg Roman offense that emphasized big personnel and the run game. Now that Roman is gone and Todd Monken is taking over as offensive coordinator, Ricard is at risk of seeing a serious role reduction. Ricard could still be used in short-yardage situations, but it's unlikely that he'll come close to his recent snap count totals. His involvement in the passing game, though minimal, could also be phased out of the offense.
