2024 Fantasy Outlook
Pruitt has served mainly as a blocking tight end throughout his career and hasn't had more than 150 receiving yards in any of his nine professional seasons. He secured 25 of 33 targets for 260 yards and five touchdowns over his two seasons in Atlanta and will now attempt to carve out a role in Pittsburgh but could have trouble seeing much volume, as Pat Freiermuth commands most of the target share among the team's tight ends. Cleared for wild-card round
Pruitt (knee) practiced in full Thursday and does not carry an injury designation for Saturday's wild-card round game against the Ravens, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pruitt was limited Tuesday then missed practice Wednesday, but his knee injury ultimately won't impact his availability for Saturday's road wild-card round matchup. Expect Pruitt to handle his usual depth role at tight end behind Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington.

Pruitt is entering his third season with the Titans, and his role on the team should be secure given the departure of Delanie Walker. In 2019, Pruitt played a key role in the team's offensive alignment, as he was on the field for 45 percent of snaps. His time on the field didn't translate to targets or receptions however, due to his primary role as an in-line blocker. That's unlikely to change in 2020, as Anthony Firkser is a superior pass-catcher and Jonnu Smith will almost certainly sit atop the depth chart at the position and will soak up many of the targets.

Pruitt is expected to sign with the Falcons on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old tight end spent the last four years with the Titans but has never caught more than 14 passes in a season during his NFL career. That's not likely to change in Atlanta behind second-year phenom Kyle Pitts, but Pruitt will provide some depth both on offense and on special teams if he makes the 53-man roster.
