2024 Fantasy Outlook
Willis' potential to be a starting quarterback in the NFL has seemingly come and gone. In addition to drafting Will Levis in 2023, the Titans also added Mason Rudolph as a free agent this offseason. That puts Willis in the position to be inactive as the third quarterback in most games in 2024. In order to stick in the league beyond his rookie contract, he'll need to improve a number of areas in his game, most importantly his accuracy from the pocket. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Fills in for Love, leads team to win
Willis completed four of five pass attempts for 56 yards and a touchdown while rushing four times for 23 yards in Sunday's 30-27 win over Jacksonville.
ANALYSIS
Willis entered Sunday's contest in the third quarter after starter Jordan Love (groin) exited due to injury. Green Bay's backup performed well in the win, holding a lead he inherited early in the second half and completing a key 51-yard pass to Jayden Reed on the final drive to set up Brandon McManus' game-winning field goal. Willis would be making his third start in place of Love should the latter sit out next Sunday's tilt against the Lions. In two prior starts for Green Bay, Willis accounted for three touchdowns and did not throw an interception.

2023
2022
It would be drastic to say that Willis' chance to be a starter in the NFL is already gone, but his rookie season wasn't positive. After being projected as a first-round pick in the 2022 draft, he slipped to the third round before Tennessee selected him. Willis spent much of his rookie campaign as the backup to Ryan Tannehill, though he did appear in eight games and made three starts. In those appearances, he averaged only 4.5 yards per attempt and had three interceptions with no touchdowns. Even his significant rushing ability didn't translate, as he accrued 123 total rushing yards with only one TD. Willis is now in danger of slipping to third on depth chart after the Titans selected Will Levis early in the second round of April's draft.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Week 9 start still in play
Willis remains a candidate to start Sunday's Week 9 divisional clash against the Lions with Jordan Love listed as questionable due to a groin injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Willis took all the first-team reps in Wednesday's practice with Love sitting out that session, and it's unclear how snaps were divided Thursday and Friday when the latter practiced on a limited basis. Willis started in both Weeks 2 and 3 when Love was sidelined with a knee sprain, but he put up only 33 attempts in that span while running an abbreviated version of the offense. However, Demovsky notes the coaching staff believes Willis can run close to a full version of the offense now that he's been with the team for two months.
