2024 Fantasy Outlook
After a breakout 2022 with the Saints, Elliss signed a three-year deal with the division-rival Falcons last offseason and posted a career-high 122 tackles. Over the last two seasons, he's totaled 200 tackles, including 11.0 sacks, five pass defenses and two forced fumbles. Even with Troy Andersen back after a lost 2023 season, Elliss' role shouldn't change drastically, making him a strong IDP option again. The only concern for Elliss this summer is his participation during training camp, as he left the 2023 regular-season finale due to an undisclosed knee injury, but he's expected to be full go. Impresses again in Week 17

ANALYSIS
Elliss has now recorded nine or more stops in 10 of his 16 appearances this season, finishing second on the Falcons' in total tackles during Sunday's overtime loss, trailing only Jessie Bates' 12-stop effort. The Idaho product also nabbed his first interception of the season in Week 17, picking off rookie Jayden Daniels in the red zone. Elliss has had the most productive season of his career in 2024, accumulating 140 total tackles (eighth most in the NFL), including 5.0 sacks, three passes defended and one forced fumble. He's expected to remain one of the Falcons' defensive leaders and top tacklers in the Week 18 matchup against the Panthers.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
After playing primarily on special teams during his first three NFL seasons, Elliss, a seventh-round pick by the Saints, posted 78 tackles, seven sacks and two forced fumbles - all career highs - in 2022. He parlayed his strong campaign into a three-year, $21.5 million deal from the Saints this offseason and should replace Rashaan Evans as a starting inside linebacker next to Troy Andersen. Given his pass-rushing prowess, Elliss may get moved around to different spots to create advantageous matchups, which could allow Mykal Walker to garner a rotational role after being benched at the end of last season.
