2024 Fantasy Outlook
Thornhill played hurt and had a subpar campaign in 2023, his first with Cleveland. He was seen as important addition - a playoff-experienced safety while with Kansas City that could improve the team's defense - and the Browns still feel the same way about the 28-year-old. One good thing to come out of his health issues is that back-end partner Grant Delpit took a leap while D'Anthony Bell and Ronnie Hickman proved to be capable. A healthy Thornhill will return as a starter and look to reclaim the playmaking ability that enticed the Browns into signing him in 2023. Read Past Outlooks

The Browns had several defensive needs and took care of free safety early in free agency when adding Thornhill, a four-year veteran with a load of big-game experience in the Chiefs' secondary. Under new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, Thornhill will reprise the role he held in Kansas City -- as a roving deep cover safety capable of making game-changing plays (three picks in 2022) for a team that ranked 23rd in turnovers last year. The Browns are going all in this year, and Thornhill's playoff experience is expected to help transition Cleveland into a legitimate postseason threat.

Predicting All-Pro campaign
Thornhill feels fully healthy this offseason for the first time since his rookie year and thinks he's ready to fill the shoes of Tyrann Mathieu in the Kansas City secondary, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The safety is heading into the final year of his rookie contract, and while he has yet to miss a regular-season game in his career, Thornhill has played through numerous minor injuries. With Mathieu now in New Orleans, Thornhill has a chance to emerge from his shadow and predicts he'll be able to put up numbers worthy of a berth on the All-Pro team.
