Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Porter was a second-round pick by the Steelers last year and showed some promise, appearing in all 17 games and totaling 43 tackles (32 solo), an interception and 10 pass defenses. He was on the field for at least 90 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the final 10 games of the regular season, and he should enter the 2024 campaign as Pittsburgh's top option at cornerback after Patrick Peterson was let go during the offseason. Will play against Cincinnati
Porter (knee) carries no injury designation into Saturday's regular-season finale against the Bengals, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Porter was unable to play against the Chiefs on Christmas Day due to a knee injury, but he'll be good to go for Saturday's AFC North showdown after ending the week with consecutive limited practices. In his seven games since the Steelers' Week 9 bye, Porter has logged 31 tackles (25 solo) and three pass defenses. Porter's return is timely, as Donte Jackson is listed as questionable due to a back injury.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Porter played at Penn State for four years and tallied 77 tackles (60 solo), an interception and 15 pass defenses over his final two collegiate seasons. The 6-3, 193-pounder faced some concerns about his ability to cover downfield without drawing the attention of the refs while with the Nittany Lions, but in the Steelers' scheme, he'll likely have his tasks fine-tuned to his strengths such that it should be a close to an ideal fit. Porter should compete for a starting role ahead of the coming season and his talent makes him an intriguing secondary piece as a rookie.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Confident entering second year
Porter believes he is the best cornerback in the league, Eric Edholm of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Porter was asked to name the best corners in the league and began with himself, before also listing the likes of Sauce Gardner, Patrick Surtain, Jaire Alexander and Denzel Ward. Porter's logic was based on the strength of his assignments, as he was consistently tasked with shadowing the opposing team's top wide receiver as a rookie. His claim would certainly be debated by most, but he'll enter his sophomore year with confidence -- a key for playing his position.
