After appearing in six games for the Eagles with limited touches between the 2020 and 2021 seasons, Huntley was waived by Philadelphia as part of preseason cuts last year before joining the Steelers' practice squad. He wasn't elevated to the active roster but signed a reserve/future contract with the team during the offseason. The 2020 fifth-rounder seems like a long shot to have a fantasy-relevant role on an active roster this year.

Gets look from San Fran
Huntley worked out for the 49ers on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The oft-injured Elijah Mitchell is sidelined again, this time with an adductor strain. While he's expected back before the start of regular season, San Francisco's other backfield depth options behind Christian McCaffrey have little NFL experience. Huntley wouldn't exactly change that, as he has only 18 carries in his career over six games with the Eagles, but he joined a group of more senior running backs at the workout that included Brian Hill, Jeremy McNichols and Duke Johnson. Whether the Niners sign another back or not, McCaffrey is locked into the starting role.
