2024 Fantasy Outlook
Higgins played wide receiver at Stanford but was drafted by the Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft with an eye on turning him into a tight end. Miami quickly gave up on that project, waiving Higgins before the start of the season, at which point he was claimed by Arizona and proceeded to post 163 yards and one touchdown as a rookie. The rebuilding Cardinals are better positioned to take a patient approach with the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Higgins’ position change, but his path to playing time could be blocked by two other young tight ends. Trey McBride emerged as one of the NFL’s most productive tight ends last season and the Cardinals bolstered the position by selecting Tip Reiman in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Another two-catch outing
Higgins hauled in both of his targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 31-6 victory versus the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Higgins now has recorded exactly two catches in three consecutive games, resulting in a modest 6-60-0 line on six targets. In Week 10, he ranked third (49 percent) among Cardinals tight ends in snap share behind Trey McBride (71 percent) and blocking specialist Tip Reiman (59 percent). In an offense that focuses heavily on James Conner, Marvin Harrison and McBride, Higgins' value is firmly capped.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
A rookie sixth-round pick out of Stanford, Higgins faces the challenge of transitioning from wide receiver to tight end and thus looks unlikely to see playing time early in his career. If he can overcome the steep positional learning curve, though, the 6-3, 228-pound pass-catcher could legitimately find a spot in Miami's offense. Higgins has the speed and burst to contribute in the receiving game, but it may require patience.
