Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could have rookie option declined
Marc Ross of NFL.com believes that the Packers should decline Wyatt's fifth-year option before the May 1 deadline.
ANALYSIS
Wyatt was selected by the Packers with the 28th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, six picks after Green Bay took linebacker Quay Walker. Wyatt had a solid sophomore campaign in 2023, during which he logged 36 combined tackles, including 5.5 sacks, across 17 regular-season games. However, he didn't start a single game during the 2024 regular season, and Ross believes Wyatt's production over the first three years of his NFL career isn't enough for the Packers to justify picking up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract.
