Bortles joined his fourth team in the offseason, signing a one-year deal with the Packers. The transaction sparked some intrigue as it came amid the Aaron Rodgers saga, but it was likely a depth move more than anything else. Bortles didn't appear in a game in 2020, and if Rodgers and Jordan Love are both on the Packers' roster Week 1, there's a decent chance Bortles isn't.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Will back up Book
Bortles is expected to sign with the Saints and work as the team's backup quarterback in Week 16 against Miami, Jeff Duncan of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Bortles will back up rookie Ian Book in what's slated to be Book's first career start, so there's a chance the journeyman could get into game action if the rookie isn't ready to handle the moment. With the Saints playing Monday, Bortles will have an extra day to master the playbook and is expected to practice after signing Friday. Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian both being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list precipitated the need to sign Bortles.
