Released from injured reserve
Salas (groin) was released from the Bills' injured reserve list Friday, ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Salas, expected to be the Bills' No. 3 receiver before succumbing to injury in Week 2, has been training at the Bills' practice facility through this week and could still come back to Buffalo before season's end. However, he won't be eligible to re-sign with the team that cut him until three weeks after being released.

Salas has good size and experience as a depth piece in an NFL offense. Unfortunately, he has only totaled 19 receptions in the past three years and will be battling for playing time. The coaches speak well of him, and as a former fourth-round pick he has a bit of a pedigree, so there is a non-zero chance that Salas will see significant targets this season.
