Rest-of-Season Projections
Lands on injured reserve
Ansah (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 31-year-old was confirmed to have suffered a torn biceps earlier in the week, so it's no surprise he was placed on injured reserve. Ansah is eligible to rejoin the active roster after missing three games, but he'll likely be sidelined for the rest of the season.

Ansah may not be ready for Week 1 due to surgery on his labrum, but he fills in a hole in Seattle following the offseason trade that sent Frank Clark to Kansas City. When he's been healthy, Ansah has been extremely productive, with 16 sacks in 21 games over the last two seasons, and he has the upside to be one of the league's best pass rushers. If concerns about the 30-year-old's healthy linger, the Seahawks could limit his role to passing downs, but he will have a shot to reach 10 sacks again with a full campaign.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Likely to sign with 49ers
Ansah will fly to San Francisco and is expected to sign with the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Since the beginning of training camp, Ansah has worked out twice with the 49ers but never struck a deal. However, with Nick Bosa expected to have a torn ACL and miss the rest of the season, Ansah will be a welcome addition to the defensive front. Dee Ford (neck) could take Bosa's starting role once he's ready, but Ansah will battle with Kerry Hyder to be the primary backup DE. Last year with the Seahawks, Ansah posted 2.5 sacks over 11 games.
