The Bears signed Green to a one-year free agent deal after he posted 42 tackles and 3.5 sacks with the Texans last year. Prior to that, Green spent four years with the Seahawks. It wasn't until 2021 that he became a productive player. Over the last two seasons, Green averaged 45 tackles and five sacks. He'll be expected to be part of a rotation at defensive end. Green will compete for snaps with Yannick Ngakoue, DeMarcus Walker and Trevis Gipson. Based on the likely rotation, Green may struggle to match the production he had the past two years.
