Declares for draft
Williams announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he will declare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
When he opted out of the 2020 season in October, Williams initially indicated that he planned to rejoin the Jayhawks for workouts in January. After taking the past month and a half to weigh his future, Williams apparently had a change of heart and will now get his professional career off the ground. Williams' speed should make him an appealing NFL prospect, but his size (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) could present some concerns for general managers about his durability.
