Runs roughshod over Army
Perry carried 29 times for 304 yards and two touchdowns Saturday in Navy's 31-7 win over Army.
ANALYSIS
For the first time all season, Perry didn't attempt a pass, but that's usually the case when the Midshipmen are in control, as was the case from the second quarter on. Instead, Perry did all the damage as a runner, becoming only the fourth quarterback in FBS history to eclipse 300 rushing yards in a game. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound signal-caller has now tallied 27 touchdowns (21 rushing and six passing) for the season to go along with 1,804 yards on the ground and 1,027 yards through the air in 12 games. He'll wrap up a prolific season Dec. 31, when Navy takes on Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2019
2018
Perry had shown some promise heading into 2018 that made him an exciting prospect to run the triple-option, but that promise never materialized into anything. After running 138 times for 1,182 yards in 2017, his 2018 was a disappointment after he took 172 carries for only 1,087 yards. He's still the team's best passer, which should result in a couple passing chances per game, but he might find himself moved to a wing back in favor of somebody who can run the option a little better. As always with Navy, volume might make him a valuable asset in some weeks, but that's likely as high as his ceiling will go.
