2024 Rush/Rec Projections
Decent day in win
Otoviano logged 15 carries for 71 yards in Rice's 24-21 victory over Florida Atlantic on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Otoviano was previously listed as probable after missing last week's game against Charlotte with an undisclosed injury. The senior running back appears to be back to 100 percent, as his 15 attempts were the most he has logged all season. Otoviano's next chance to play for the Owls will come in Rice's bowl game.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2019
To start the 2022 season, Otoviano mostly worked as a kick returner. Then, late in the year, the Owls worked him back into the rotation on the ground. Over the final seven games of the season he carried the ball 65 times for 368 yards. That’s not too shabby. However, Cameron Montgomery and Ari Broussard both had over 90 carries last year, and they are both back. Otoviano is a redshirt senior. He’s been around the Owls program since 2019. Last year was the first time he had a significant role in the run game, and he was still the third back. There is no reason to think this is the season it all turns around. Plus, the Owls brought in JT Daniels to be the new starting quarterback. You would assume that they might want to focus on the passing game as a result, especially with how lackluster the run game was for the team in 2022.
