Leaving Wisconsin
Wolf chose to leave the Wisconsin program prior to the spring semester and is no longer enrolled at the school, Jesse Temple of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After Wisconsin's Dec. 27 win over Oklahoma State in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, Wolf announced plans to return to Madison for a sixth season. However, with the Badgers having since added ex-SMU signal-caller Tanner Mordecai via the transfer portal and expected to install him atop the depth chart this spring, Wolf opted to move on from the program since he wasn't going to receive a chance to compete for a starting job. It's unclear if Wolf plans to play out his sixth year of eligibility elsewhere or if he'll call an end to his football career.
