Dismissed from program
King has been dismissed Monday from Marshall's football program for a violation of team rules and policies, The Herald-Dispatch reports.
ANALYSIS
King produced more than six yards per carry last season and was slated for another big campaign as part of a timeshare with Brenden Knox in 2019, but it appears his off-the-field conduct has gotten him removed from the team. Knox is now expected to serve as No. 1 back for the Thundering Herd the rest of the way, with Sheldon Evans and Lawrence Papillon operating as the top depth options behind him.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
King and Brenden Knox both ended up sharing the load for the Thundering Herd, although they both got a raw deal losing touchdowns to vulture Anthony Anderson, who had nine touchdowns to go with only 310 yards rushing. King was the back that led the team in touches and yards, even though he missed the bowl game for unknown reasons. Knox isn't going anywhere, and another time share is likely in order, especially since Knox was only a freshman last season.
