Won't return to college
Manley will pursue a career at the next level and won't return to the college ranks, Marcus Fuller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
After leaving North Carolina as a graduate transfer following the 2020-21 season, Manley had reportedly been in contact with several programs during his time spent in the portal. However, it appears that he will forego his college eligibility and pursue a pro basketball career, though it's hard to envision him being selected in the 2021 NBA Draft after he spent the majority of the last two seasons recovering from knee injuries.

Unlikely to be a factor this season
Coach Roy Williams doesn't expect Manley (knee) to be a factor in any of the remaining games of the 2020-21 season, Greg Barnes of 247Sports reports. "He's gone up and down probably three or four times in the last month. He didn't play in Wednesday's game. He didn't practice Thursday or Friday because we were trying to give him time off. I do not foresee him being a factor in the games this year, no. Do I foresee the chance that he could possibly get into games and help us and help himself and change my opinion? You know, that's a possibility," said Williams.
