Officially staying in draft
Marshall signed with a non-NCAA-certified agent this week, officially ending his college career at Xavier, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Marshall declared for the 2020 NBA Draft on March 26 while initially maintaining his eligibility, but after three weeks to ponder his next step, he's committed to begin his professional career. His departure leaves a huge void for Xavier, as Marshall averaged 16.8 points, 6.3 boards, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game as a junior in 2019-20. With Marshall out of the picture, holdovers Jason Carter and Daniel Ramsey as well as incoming freshmen C.J. Wilcher and Colby Jones could be needed to fill the available minutes at either forward spot.
