Nelson, who spent two seasons with UT Rio Grande, will look for new opportunities elsewhere moving forward. The 6-foot-7 senior started 20 games this season, averaging 10.4 points, four rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks on 25.7 minutes per game.
