Declares for NBA Draft
Hunt (ankle) announced Friday via his Twitter account that he is entering the 2021 NBA Draft, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Hunt becomes the second Mustang to declare for the draft and fourth overall to leave the program this week. The 6-8 junior averaged a career-high 11.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 28.1 minutes per game this season but unfortunately missed the team's NIT loss to Boise State because of an ankle injury he suffered in the previous game. Hunt's number's aren't eye-popping but he certainly has the size and athletic capability to allow him to stick around the NBA for a while.
