Remaining in draft
FArizona
May 31, 2022
Terry said Tuesday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Arizona to keep his name in the 2022 NBA Draft, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reports.
ANALYSIS
Terry left the door open for a potential return to school, but ultimately decided to sign with a non-NCAA-certified agent and enter the professional ranks. The 6-foot-7 wing was a versatile piece for the Wildcats in 2021-22 and finished his second season in Tucson with averages of 8.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 27.8 minutes per game over 37 starts. Arizona will have some work to do this offseason in replacing Terry along with Christian Koloko and Bennedict Mathurin, who are also headed to the NBA.
