ROS Projections
Moving on to next level
Koloko announced Monday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Arizona to enter the 2022 NBA Draft, Shams Charania of Stadium reports.
ANALYSIS
The 7-foot-1, 230-pound big man is projected by many draft outlets to hear his name called late in the first round or early in the second round, so he'll more than likely sign with a non-NCAA-certified agent to close the door on a potential return to Arizona. Koloko enjoyed a breakout campaign for the Wildcats in 2021-22, turning in career-best averages in points (12.6 per game), rebounds (7.6), blocks (2.8), assists (1.4), steals (0.8) and minutes (25.4) while starting in all 37 of Arizona's contests. Koloko's impending departure leaves rising junior Oumar Ballo as the most likely candidate to step in as Arizona's starting center in 2022-23.
