Williams announced Sunday that he has committed to Kentucky, joining the program as a transfer from Drexel, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
The three-time Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year will likely slot in as Kentucky's new starting center in 2024-25 with Aaron Bradshaw having already entered the transfer portal and with Ugonna Onyenso perhaps also headed elsewhere with the Wildcats bringing in a new head coach in Mark Pope. During his fourth season at Drexel in 2023-24, Williams averaged 12.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.8 blocks and 0.8 steals in 22.9 minutes per contest over 32 appearances.
