Mahaney logged 15 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT) over 20 minutes during Sunday's 87-84 victory over Providence.
ANALYSIS
Mahaney may have not been the greatest fit at UConn, as he lost the starting point guard spot to Hassan Diarra just five games into the season and has largely been a non-factor offensively since. However, that at least took a turn for the better when he posted a season-high 15 points Sunday, sparking the offense off the bench. That said, the season best came without a single rebound, assist, steal or block, so it wasn't that big of a boost for fantasy managers who might have rolled the dice. Nonetheless, a sign of life from Mahaney is certainly a good thing as Big East play heats up.
