Totals 18 points in title loss
Watson totaled 18 points (5-14 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three assists and three rebounds across 35 minutes in Saturday's 64-57 loss to Utah State in the championship game of the Mountain West tournament.
ANALYSIS
Watson may have played his last game as an Aztec, although it seems likely that the team should get some credit for upending #14 Nevada and may see a bid from the CBI or CIPT. They might even have an outside chance at the MIT if their committee feels that the Aztecs are a better selection than Fresno State, who is projected to get a bid currently. Watson was the only player to score in double digits n Saturday, and although they were impressive early, the team couldn't keep their energy up down the stretch.
