"The Undrafted" sounds like it could be a new post-apocalyptic television series about a group of practice squad players who survive a zombie plague. For this exercise, however, it just means the following guys are not being selected in most standard fantasy leagues, but are worth a look in the late rounds of your Labor Day drafts. Players like CJ Anderson, Travis Kelce and Odell Beckham Jr. were in this category a year ago, so don't be afraid to stash a talented athlete who could pop when the opportunity arises.
Quarterback
Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills

The Bills figure to be a ground-and-pound offense in 2015, but Taylor still has a ton of breakout potential as a dual-threat QB with an underrated group of receivers. New offensive coordinator Greg Roman also ran one of the lowest volume schemes over his four years in San Francisco, so the passing numbers probably won't allow Taylor to be anything more than a useful QB2. Even with the low output in San Francisco, Roman was able to coax productive fantasy seasons from Colin Kaepernick, another dual-threat signal-caller.
Johnny Manziel, Cleveland Browns

I wasn't a huge fan of Manziel coming out of college, but his price will probably never be lower, unless he washes out of the league completely -- which is not completely out of the realm of possibility. Like Taylor above, though, Manziel has some obvious ability to throw and run, and it may not be long before the Browns hand the offense over to the second-year QB. He offers a higher upside than some other scrap heap quarterbacks.

Running Back
Denard Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars

Robinson proved in 2014 that he can be an impact fantasy running back, after taking over as the starter in week 7 from Toby Gerhart. This year, another bigger back is in his way -- rookie TJ Yeldon -- but the former Alabama star has dealt with injuries in camp, which is a trend that continues from his college days. Robinson will have a role from week 1 and could see a majority of touches if Yeldon falters or gets hurt again.
Matt Jones, Washington Redskins

Jones was surprisingly drafted in the third round by Washington and has looked good in exhibition games, averaging 7.0 yards per carry. The 6-2, 231-pounder will likely steal goal line carries from Alfred Morris, who is a free agent-to-be, and it's possible Jones handles No. 1 duties at some point in 2015 if they decide he is the future bellcow back.

Wide Receiver
Phillip Dorsett, Indianapolis Colts

Dorsett could be an extraordinary weapon with his ability to take the top off a defense. Expect Indy's first rounder to win the No. 3 receiver job over Donte Moncrief and have massive value if TY Hilton or Andre Johnson get dinged up. Dorsett not only has 4.3 speed, but short area quickness as well, and reports have been glowing out of Colts camp. Unlike fellow first round picks Kevin White, DeVante Parker and Breshad Perriman, Dorsett is healthy and has one of the best quarterbacks in the league throwing him the ball. We've already seen what Andrew Luck can do with a similar player in Hilton. He's just sitting on the waiver wire, waiting for ESPN-leaguers to claim him.
Brandon Coleman, New Orleans Saints

Coleman will slot in behind Brandin Cooks and Marques Colston as the No. 3 WR in New Orleans, following a stellar training camp. Even if he never moves higher on the depth chart, Coleman should have value in the redzone and the Saints offense has continually ranked among the NFL's elite passing attacks under coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees. At 6-6, 225, he is the closest thing, physically, to the departed Jimmy Graham.

Tight End

Due to Antonio Gates' four-game ban, Green has, essentially, a tryout to be San Diego's tight end of the future -- and possibly the present. It remains to be seen if Green, who hasn't been given much pre-season work, can live up to his 6-6 frame and 4.45 speed, but if he does, the 35-year-old Gates may have a difficult time sliding back into the No. 1 job.
