The wind has come up today, and the scores are going up with it.  Midway through Friday's second round, with the cut line currently at 4-over, here are some early trunk slams:

US Open champ Lucas Glover followed up yesterday's 75 with an 81, and is long gone.

Ben Curtis posted 75-84, for an aggregate of 17-over.

Masters champion Angel Cabrera posted 72-80.

Rory Sabbatini managed to improve from Thursday's 76, posting a 73 today.  But expecting the cut line to move down three shots, even in tough conditions like these, is probably too much to expect.

Meanwhile, first-round co-leader Sergio Garcia is still in the hunt, but he followed Thursday's sparkling 65 with a clunker (76).  He's at 1-under for the tournament, and will easily make the cut, but he has to be dismayed at the change in the course over 24 hours.

Phil Mickelson finished Friday's round at 3-over for the tournament, and will almost certainly be around for the weekend.

Michael Letzig, Chris Stroud, and Matthew Goggin all withdrew today, and Steve Flesch was disqualified after posting 72-76.  Letzig's withdrawal is particularly unfortunate, as he had posted a 2-under 69 on Thursday.  Flesch was DQ'ed for signing an incorrect scorecard, but his 6-over total would likely have missed the cut line anyway.

At this point, there has only been one sub-par round posted on Friday -- Charles Howell III's 1-under 70.

The Tour Championship field will be cut after this event to the top 100 in FedEx Cup Points.
