ANALYSIS
One of the top recruits from the high school class of 2023, Edwards went undrafted after declaring for the 2024 NBA Draft following one season at Kentucky. He didn't hear his name called in the draft in part due to his lack of standout production during his lone season with the Wildcats, as he averaged just 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.2 blocks in 21.5 minutes per contest. On a positive note, Edwards shot 36.5 percent from three-point range on 2.7 attempts per game, leaving the 76ers optimistic that he can emerge as a reliable rotational wing down the road. The 20-year-old is likely to spend most of his first professional season in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats, however.
