Julius Hodge

If Hodge can improve his outside shooting he�s got a great chance to overtake all other contenders in Denver for the starting SG job. Of course that�s a big if considering Hodge only shot 25% (14-55) from the college 3-point line in 2004-05. Yet, despite that weakness, it could be argued that Hodge is the purest scorer and player most capable of creating his own shot off the dribble amongst all of Denver�s potential SG�s. Current speculation out of Nugget�s camp is that head coach George Karl is going to give him every chance to show his versatility at both guard positions and at small forward. Early in the season we see the rookie getting 10-15 minutes a night with averages of 4-6 points, 1-2 rebounds, 1-2 assists, and a steal. By season's end he'll be up to speed and that will add up to 28-33 minutes a night, 10-13 points, 4-5 rebounds, 2-3 assists, and 1-2 steals.
