Jamario Moon is essentially the player the Raptors were hoping to get when they drafted Graham a few seasons ago, which leaves no role for Graham himself. Expect this to be his last year in Toronto.

The Raptors’ other first round pick from the 2005 draft that also netted them Charlie Villanueva, Graham has been a frustratingly inconsistent player through his first two seasons. His overall numbers remained fairly flat in ’06-‘07 (6.4 PPG and 3.1 RPG, compared to 6.7 and 3.1 as a rookie) but he decreased his fouls and turnovers, a sign that he’s making fewer mistakes on the court. The Raptors continue to add to their depth at Graham’s swingman spot, however, bringing in Juan Dixon and Luke Jackson late last year and signing Carlos Delfino this offseason. Graham will need to show significant improvement this season, or it will likely be his last in Toronto.

Graham, the Raptors’ other first round pick last year after Charlie Villanueva, had a very ragged rookie season, showing flashes of hustle and defensive ability but also committing far too many mental errors. He’ll be pushed hard for playing time by PJ Tucker, and if he doesn’t clean up his game could lose his roster spot altogether.
