Dowtin was operating under a two-way deal during the 2022-23 campaign, and despite appearing in only 25 contests, he was active for the maximum 50 games and was ineligible over the final weeks of the season. Across his 25 appearances, the undrafted product out of Rhode Island posted 2.4 points and 1.2 assists in 10.4 minutes per game. Dowtin will technically be a restricted free agent this offseason, but it sounds like Toronto expects to retain him via a standard NBA contract.
