Sessions had a rough season with Charlotte in 2016-17. He was stuck in a relatively minor bench role for the majority of the year, before a knee injury ultimately costed him the final 31 games of the season. Sessions ended up taking part in just 50 games, while averaging a career-low 16.2 minutes per contest. That small workload also dropped his per game averages to career lows of 6.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists, while shooting just 38 percent from the field and 33.9 percent from deep. While the 31-year-old point guard appears to be on the downfall, there's still some light at the end of the tunnel. By signing with the Knicks in the offseason, he's heading into a situation where he should get plenty of playing time. There's even a chance Sessions could start, as the Knicks have just rookie Frank Ntilikina and Ron Baker as other options at the position. The Knicks could certainly look to sign another free agent prior to the opener, but as it currently stands, Sessions should see a significant boost in playing time from what he averaged last year. That doesn't necessarily mean Sessions is going to be a stud when it comes to Fantasy, as he's not. But with a starter's workload, Sessions should be able to put up respectable numbers in points, rebounds and assists as an average point guard. As long as he can stay healthy, look for a bounce-back campaign for Sessions in his 11th season.
