ANALYSIS
Harrison appeared in nine games with the Mavericks last year, averaging 6.7 points on 27.5 percent shooting in 25.9 minutes. He spent most of the year in the G-League. There, he started 17 of his 41 appearances and averaged 18.7 points on 43.6 percent shooting. He was a notably good three-point shooter, drilling 2.8 per game at 42.5 percent. Still only 23 years old, Harrison will presumably use his time overseas to refine his skillset before attempting an NBA comeback.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2016
2015
The undrafted free agent out of Kentucky appeared sparingly in 21 games for the Hornets as a rookie, logging just 93 total minutes while spending much of the year in the D-League. Harrison averaged 17.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 13 games between the Erie Bayhawks and Oklahoma City Blue, though he shot just 36.3 percent from the floor and 26.5 percent from three-point land. A strong defender with good size, Harrison remains somewhat of an intriguing prospect, but he'll have trouble finding a consistent role in 2016-17. Considered a fringe roster player, Harrison, who had a mostly unspectacular 2016 summer league showing, is unlikely to make a tangible fantasy impact in his second pro season.
As a highly-touted freshman at Kentucky, Harrison averaged 11.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 26 minutes per game through 39 contests, shooting 40 percent from the field, 32 percent from beyond the arc, and 78 percent from the free-throw line. The 6-6 guard went undrafted before catching on with the Hornets' summer league squad. After averaging 13.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 steals in 29 minutes per game during five games at the Orlando Summer League, Harrison earned a non-guaranteed deal. It's likely Harrison and Elliot Williams will go at it in training camp for the 15th and final spot on the Hornets' roster.
