Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Mitch McGary See More
The Northwest division is stacked with young talent, with the Thunder possibly the most intriguing now that Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka are gone. But who is going to line up with Russell Westbrook?
Nerlens Noel has played very well since returning from injury, and he now faces off against a Raptors team that has little incentive to play their regulars.
Bradley Beal seems to have shaken off the rust following his injury absence, and he still represents a solid value on DraftKings.
Past Fantasy Outlooks

2014
McGary had a strange rookie season. He broke his foot in training camp last October and didn't make his NBA debut until mid-December. When McGary was finally healthy enough to play, ex-coach Scott Brooks kept him on the bench until injuries to Kendrick Perkins and Steven Adams forced McGary into action, and he took advantage of the opportunity to play meaningful minutes. McGary was one of the better per-minute producers last season, but he didn't get on the court enough to be a consistent factor in fantasy. Through 32 games, he averaged 6.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks in 15 minutes per game. If he ever gets minutes, it's believed McGary will be a great fantasy player, but with Enes Kanter, Steven Adams, Serge Ibaka, and Kevin Durant all in front of him on the depth chart for frontcourt minutes, it's difficult to see where McGary could get minutes this season. The one wild card in the Thunder minutes equation is the fact that they hired Billy Donovan out of Florida to replace Scott Brooks as the head coach this season, and no one knows what Donovan's rotations are going to look like. While it's doubtful Donovan shakes things up too much, it'll be interesting to see what comes to light in the preseason. McGary has been working on hitting the corner three-point shot this offseason, and in the Las Vegas Summer League, he averaged 12.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 block, and 2.0 steals in 24 minutes per game through four contests.
