Devin Brown: Traded to Chicago
GNew Orleans Pelicans
January 25, 2010
The Hornets have traded Brown to the Bulls for Aaron Gray, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
Brown helps fill the role of scoring guard off the bench in Chicago while Gray gives the Hornets another big body up front. This cuts into the value of Jannero Pargo and makes Marcus Thornton a viable fantasy option in most leagues.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2005
2003
The Jazz brought Salt Lake City native Brown home with a two-year free agent deal, and Brown has a great shot to grab the starting shooting guard position right away. Brown was very productive off the bench for the world champion Spurs, putting up 7.4 points per game in just 18 minutes per game. Brown is more of a slasher than a pure outside shooter, and while he's a tough, physical defender, he doesn't provide much in the way of assists, rebounds, steals, or blocks. Brown will help the Jazz much more than he'll help your fantasy team.
The former NBA Developmental League MVP, and co-rookie of the Year, was signed by Denver for a late-season tryout in April 2003 and hopes to be on the team all season. Time will tell. If he stays on the roster, he still won't see more than seven minutes a game.
