Kevin Ollie

Ollie will again be the first backup to Miller at the point but will soon give way to Louis Williams. Ollie provides good veteran leadership but has no fantasy value.

Ollie is a strong veteran presence for the Sixers and capable of playing the role of a floor general. He has a strong frame and is able to play good man-to-man defense. His basketball IQ and calm demeanor enabled him to start 23 games for the squad last year. He mainly plays point guard, and will share time at the position with Iverson, Williams and Green.

Ollie, who played only 26 games last season, has to be a key component of the backcourt rotation with Iverson expected to drop a couple minutes per game. He will need to play more point guard, but not enough to make a fantasy impact.

Brought in to play minutes at the point when Iverson needs a break and to provide good, smart defensive play. A great bench player to have, he makes his minutes count.

Ollie led the league in assists-to-turnover ratio (4.04), and could find himself running the show for the Cavs if LeBron James, as some have speculated, doesn’t pan out at point guard. Could be a sleeper point guard.
