FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

There are six games in the NBA on Tuesday and while there is playoff seeding on the line, some of the usual elite options in DFS might not see their normal allotment of minutes. There are still plenty of players who can provide value though, so consider the players below who all have favorable matchups and could help you finish with a winning FanDuel entry.

Guards

Josh Hart, LAL vs. HOU ($5,600): The Lakers are dealing with several injuries as the season comes to a close and could be without Lonzo Ball (knee), Brandon Ingram (concussion) and Kyle Kuzma (ankle) on Tuesday. All three players sat Sunday against the Jazz as well, resulting in Hart scoring 41.3 FanDuel points in 41 minutes. Hart has already logged at least 32 minutes in five of his last six games, making him worth considering again Tuesday.

Tyler Ennis, LAL vs. HOU ($4,700): Ennis is another player who stepped up with all of the Lakers injuries Sunday, scoring 40.2 FanDuel points in 29 minutes. He has played at least 22 minutes in four straight games, scoring at least 27.9 FanDuel points three times. The Lakers play at the third-fastest pace (102.6 possessions per game) in the league, so expect Ennis to have plenty of chances to provide value if he sees similar playing time Tuesday.

Danuel House, PHO at DAL ($4,300): The Suns are dealing with a ton of injuries, which has resulted in House playing at least 28 minutes in each of their last four games. He's taken advantage of the opportunity, scoring at least 25.7 FanDuel points three times. The Suns play at the fastest pace (102.7) in the league, so House is going to have plenty of chances to be productive with added minutes likely coming again Tuesday. His price hasn't jumped up yet either, making him an excellent value play.

Forwards

Johnathan Motley, DAL vs. PHO ($6,000): The Mavericks will be without several key players Tuesday with Harrison Barnes (rest), Dirk Nowitzki (ankle), Nerlens Noel (suspension) or Salah Mejri (knee) all out. Motley should see plenty of minutes as a result, especially after logging at least 40 minutes in two of his last three games. He showed tremendous upside, scoring 47.4 FanDuel points Friday against the Pistons. His price has jumped up significantly as a result, but it's still low enough to warrant considering him for your entry.

Dorian Finney-Smith, DAL vs. PHO ($4,800): Finney-Smith is another Mavericks player who should see increased playing time Tuesday due to all of the injuries on the team. Although he doesn't have a ton of offensive upside, he has scored at least 23.2 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. Considering the pace at which the Suns play and their own injury issues, Finney-Smith could provide value at this price.

Dragan Bender, PHO at DAL ($4,300): Not only were the Suns without T.J. Warren (knee) on Sunday, but Marquese Chriss (hip) was unable to play as well. Bender logged 41 minutes as a result, finishing with 32.8 FanDuel points. It marked the third time in the last four games that Bender has played at least 33 minutes, scoring at last 25.5 FanDuel points in each of those games. Warren is not expected to play again Tuesday and if Chriss can't take the floor either, Bender should see heavy minutes. Even if Chriss does play, Bender is still priced low enough to provide value.

Centers

Greg Monroe, BOS at WAS ($6,200): The Celtics have locked up the second seed in the East, so there is no incentive to give their starters heavy minutes Tuesday. Monroe should have a significant role off the bench and has already scored at least 26.4 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. He has the highest usage rate (25%) on the Celtics with Kyrie Irving (knee) now out, which leaves him with upside even as a member of their second unit.

Willy Hernangomez, CHA at IND ($5,500): The Hornets are still giving Dwight Howard significant minutes even though they have nothing left to play for, but Hernangomez is getting his chance to produce with Cody Zeller (knee) sidelined. His numbers aren't off the charts, but Hernangomez has scored at least 24.1 FanDuel point in five straight games. The Pacers allow the eighth-most FanDuel points per game (53.9) to opposing centers, making Hernangomez someone to consider for your entry.

Alex Len, PHO at DAL ($4,600): The Suns were missing both Chriss and Alan Williams (knee) on Sunday, which left Len to play 25 minutes. He cashed in with a double-double, resulting in 28.5 FanDuel points. The Mavericks will be extremely thin up front, so Len could be in for another big game if Chriss can't play. If you want to go really cheap at center, he might be worth the risk in tournament play.
