The NBA kicks off the last week of the regular season with nine games on the schedule Monday. With so many options to choose from for your DraftKings entry, let's get right down to business and look at some players with favorable matchups who could help you win some money.
Guards
MarShon Brooks, MEM at MIN ($6,200): The Grizzlies continue to sit many of the prominent players on their squad, leaving a huge role for Brooks. He has shined in his opportunity, scoring at least 31.3 DraftKings points in all five games that he has played since joining the team. He's been heavily involved offensively, attempting at least 12 shots in each contest. His price is climbing, but he can still provide value Monday.
Sean Kilpatrick, CHI at BKN ($4,800): Kilpatrick has played for four different teams this season, but he's getting a chance to get extended playing time for the tanking Bulls. He's provided similar production as Brooks has for the Grizzlies, scoring at least 28.5 DraftKings points in three straight games. With the Bulls missing most of their primary scorers, Kilpatrick scored at least 20 points in all three of those games. The Nets allow the third-most points per game (110.4) in the league, giving Kilpatrick upside in this game.
Delon Wright, TOR at DET ($3,900): The Raptors are playing the second half of a back-to-back Monday and have nothing left to play for since they have locked up the top seed in the East. They rested DeMar DeRozan and Jonas Valanciunas on Sunday, so Monday might be Kyle Lowry's turn. Fred VanVleet (back) also left Sunday's game and did not return. While his injury isn't believed to be serious, there is a chance he doesn't play Monday either. If both Lowry and VanVleet don't play, Wright could provide excellent value at this price.
Forwards
LaMarcus Aldridge, SA vs. SAC ($9,900): The Spurs are currently the sixth seed in the West, but still have not clinched a playoff spot. Aldridge has put the team on his back as they make their push to get in, scoring at least 45.8 DraftKings points in 10 of his last 11 games. He has dominated the Kings in their first three meetings this season, averaging 25 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and one block per game. Don't hesitate to pay up to get him into your lineup.
Allen Crabbe, BKN vs. CHI ($5,500): The Nets haven't been tanking down the stretch since they don't own their first-round pick in the draft, but injuries have now hit their squad. DeMarre Carroll (hip) has already been ruled out and Caris LeVert (foot) is listed as doubtful for Monday. If LeVert can't play either, expect Crabbe to get plenty of playing time. He just scored 33 DraftKings points against these same Bulls on Saturday, which is not surprising considering the Bulls struggles on defense.
Joe Harris, BKN vs. CHI ($5,200): Like Crabbe, Harris will benefit greatly if both Carroll and LeVert don't play. He was excellent against the Bulls on Saturday, scoring 37 DraftKings points. Harris is shooting 41.9% from behind the arc this season and the Bulls have the eighth-highest three-point percentage allowed (36.8%) in the league, making this a great matchup for Harris.
Centers
Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. POR ($10,800): The Nuggets are tied for the eighth-seed in the West and enter Monday having won five straight. Jokic has been the main reason for their success, scoring at least 52 DraftKings points in six straight contests. He had four double-doubles and one triple-double during the stretch, showing his excellent ability to contribute across the board. He'll eat up a significant portion of your budget, but he has one of the highest upsides of anyone taking the floor Monday.
Kyle O'Quinn, NY vs. CLE ($6,700): Enes Kanter (back) has missed the last four games for the Knicks and may not play again this season. O'Quinn has taken over as the starting center, scoring at least 32.3 DraftKings points in each of those games. He has three straight double-doubles and is coming off of scoring 52 DraftKings points in 30 minutes Saturday against the Bucks. At this mid-tier price, O'Quinn's new role makes him someone to consider for your entry.
Ivan Rabb, MEM at MIN ($5,000): The Grizzlies have been resting Marc Gasol for one game of back-to-back sets as they play for a high pick in next year's draft. Gasol played 35 minutes against the Pistons on Sunday, so don't be surprised if he sits out Monday. Jarrell Martin (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of the season and JaMychal Green (knee) could be out Monday as well, which would open up big minutes for Rabb. All three players sat Friday against the Kings, leaving Rabb to score 40.8 DraftKings points in 31 minutes. He could provide tremendous value again Monday.
