Josh Hart

One of the fastest prospects in Baltimore's system, Hart swiped 30 bags at High-A in 104 games last season. Unfortunately, his speed is his only present offensive tool, and those steals came at a high price as his success rate was just 66.7-percent, so he still needs to refine his mechanics to be a more effective option by the time he helps out at the top levels. There is no power here to speak of, as Hart has two home runs in 907 professional at-bats. Moreover, Hart has little plate discipline, drawing walks in just 2.5-percent of his plate appearances last season, although his strikeout rate was palatable at 18.2-percent. Hart needs a lot of work just to be able to hit at the Double-A level. He provides speed but figures to be a liability in every other facet of the fantasy game. There is a good chance that Hart will repeat High-A until he can improve as a hitter.
